Trust Account Management:

  • Acton Commercial is well versed in managing trust accounts on behalf of individual clients with assets having a (total) rental turnover above $500,000.00 per annum.
  • Our standard practice is to operate two trust accounts for each managed property. 
  • One account records transactions associated with the owner’s nett rental income and associated owner’s expenses. 
  • A second trust account deals only with property expenses reimbursed to owners under the terms of the leases.
  • This approach ensures that each of these income sources (rental income and property expenses) can be are easily reconciled and verified. Should there be a need to transfer funds from either of the trust accounts these transactions are clearly identifiable.
  • Owners are provided with monthly transactions statements, quarterly statements to allow Goods & Services Taxation Summaries to be prepared and annual transaction summaries (July to June financial year).

Property Management

Acton Commercial’s offers a unique level of service to their clients by:
